Questions you shouldn't ask and answers you don't want...

Generally no. The rule has been and will remain: complications cannot be mucked about with after your second event without a LOT of in game effort. And even then it's a "maybe."

How're the AA meetings going, by the way?

(Please Note: the last quip was aimed at In Game repercussions and should not be taken as commentary about anything OOG.)

Although a definitive answer would of course require further measurements, published species-wide averages of wing length and body mass, initial Strouhal estimates based on those averages and cross-species comparisons, the Lund wind tunnel study of birds flying at a range of speeds, and revised Strouhal numbers based on that study all lead me to estimate that the average cruising airspeed velocity of an unladen European Swallow is roughly 11 meters per second, or 24 miles an hour.

Right, so the answer seems to be:

"Yes, you may use surgical precision with any melee strike."

Doctor Clobber: you must treat it like Sherlock Holmes pugilism from the recent moving picture --and make it awesome.

Yes, We can (and have been) healed by anything that isn't Medicine, Surgery, Disease, and Poison.

Grenades are listed as "Thrown Weapons".... does this mean one could simply knock one out of the air with a sword, or block one with a shield and be unaffected by the effect? Seems a little silly I could block a primed explosive with a shield and be unscathed... but according to the rules description that is what seems to be the case.

Hello! I was wondering since we're less than two weeks away from the event:

Should I plan on doing any gained CPs at check-in like at my first event?

Unrelated: if you have the Buckler skill and you get daggers for free, you can still use Buckler and Dagger as a legit combo, right?

Can you use Stoke on your Shield if you can use your Shield to attack (part of the new Header) through gesture?
