Questions you shouldn't ask and answers you don't want...

Spade, I've got experience with every Nerf gun made right now, so I might be able to help.

I've got a spectre and I've been quite impressed with it's performance right out of the box. It's a bit longer than the Mav, but it's much thinner. Definetly worth giving a look. Plus it doesn't encapsulate the tips of the darts, so there's less chance of them wedging in the barrel if they're slightly out of whack.

If you're planning on attending the 'tavern night' in july let me know beforehand and I'll bring the arsenal. (is it bad when your nerf guns require a duffle bag that's big enough to hold a body?)

With the tinker skill it says you can 'invent things between sessions.' This obviously means that all you get are the schematics to make whatever item you are inventing. However do you need the appropriate skills to make the item after its been invented just to invent it in the first place?Scenario 1: A particular item that is being invented requires device construciton to make it once invented, however the tinkerer doesn't posess device construction, only tinker. Can the item still be invented? Scenario 2: A different particular item that is being invented requires cross-header construction skills to make (lets say warlock and mechanic), but the tinkerer only posesses tinker and talismanry. Would the tinkerer also need to buy device construction?
(sorry same question asked two different ways)

Short answer is yes. For the sake of real-world sanity, you need to be able to build the thing you're inventing.

Could it be that someone with Tinker could doodle up schematics because they understand the theory, BUT they lack the technical skill to actually fabricate it (device construction) so they have to hand off their recipe to someone who can build it? Does that make sense?

Okay, that's fair. Just a thought. :) (Moral of the story: Deadbolt has to do his own nefarious dirty work! haha)

I like that Warlock and Mechanic together in one sentence can only be described as "nefarious."

Does a Whispering Idol have to carried on one's person?

And Devotions: RP praying for 5m. Until your next reset, you may cast Faith spells with no incant. Does this ONLY mean Faithful miracles? Or does it include Hidden Faithful Spells?

Yes, a whispering idol must be carried on one's person.

Devotions applies only to the Faith "spell school," as listed in the Lost Eidolons core rule book. It does not apply to any other "spell school," e.g. "Miracles."
