Questions you shouldn't ask and answers you don't want...

I understand that Bucklers/Shields are not in the rulebook. However, if they were, what would the size range of them be for Lost Eidolons? :)

Our weapon guidelines follow those listed on the Madrigal website. Think the site is Madrigallarp.com.... labeled combat props... We put them somewhere...

Ok. Cool. So:

"A buckler is a small shield that cannot be more
that 24" at its longest dimension. A full sized
shield cannot be more that 36" at its longest
dimension."

Thanks!

Sorry about the double question...

What are the rules on the newer nerf guns? My mavericks keep jamming with the rigors of LARPing. Is something like the Barricade allowed for pistol? It's 'semi-automatic' and doesn't need to be cocked (i.e. just requires a trigger pull), but I've heard it fires a lot more reliably.

Here's the product link: http://www.hasbro.com/nerf/en_US/shop/d ... src=endeca

I can take care of this one...

Sadly they are not allowed because of several reasons among which:
1. They are too loud, (Imageing the mod building with 10 people in it with those.
2. They can be fired quickly and might cause a balance issue.

These are the reasons I remember for the great and powerful wizard Jacob

Ok. Well, I'll try my luck at modding a Spectre or something and see if I get better performance out of it.

Spade,

Another thing you might try is a Nerf Recon in pistol configuration (it's modular - the stock and barrel are removable so it can be either a pistol or rifle-sized). Thats what I've used, and while it does still occasionally jam, I've found it jams on me much less than my old maverick was.

Also internal modifications are not allowed.

Yeah. I meant cosmetic mods, primarily so it could fit into my holster since it looks like the barrel length is longer than my Maverick's, or allow it to swing wider on loading. I don't mod any of the firing internals, so I can be legal for any of the 'gun larps' out there.

I've just had some crappy luck with Mavericks lately. I have a Recon that I'm not super impressed with, but that was my first reassemble, so that's probably my bad. My best gun is a NiteFinder, but I hate loading individual darts in a fast game especially since I wear gloves in LE.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. I'll figure something out.
