HUE AND CRY for 2011

I just work here, so I'm not certain, but I think they're supposed to be able to fit into a film cannister and not in a human eye socket. Or something.

Bird seed with no pointy bits is important, as is fabric that has a bit of give to it. Anybody who knows the details better than I do, by all means, speak up.

This is from the accelrant core rules, which may be helpful:

"The head of the packet should be between 1 and 1.5 inches in diameter, and the tail
behind the tape should not be longer than 3 inches. The fabric cannot be pulled so tight
that it no longer has give. You should be able to squeeze the center of the packet and
almost touch your fingers together. "

We vastly prefer fabric that is stretchy both vertically and horizontally, as well as smaller seeded birdseed (sans large kernels and sunflower seeds and such), if only to ensure that people aren't hurting one another left and right while we lob packets around :D

The particular type of birdseed that you want to use in packets, that everyone seems to forget the name of, is Millet birdseed. All it is is those little round seeds, so no risk of hitting someone with the pointy end of a sunflower seed.

With 35mm film canisters becoming a thing of the past, a good substitute is a shotglass.

I might be able to snag some masks or some nerf guns. If you get a chance, please email me the details and I'll see what I can do before the next event.

Quote from the LE 7v corner:

"Every time you make a packet, a horror gets its wings. And winged horrors don't need gesture attacks."

Right, so:

I have a fairly simple sewing project. Not basic basic, but if you can make tabards you can probably handle this.

Any takers?

We're good on most things, guys, but I I have a couple last minute requests:

1) Black lights and/or UV flashlights.
2) Gloves. The really cheap black stretchy cloth gloves that you can get just about anywhere.
3) I haven't actually heard that anybody is making packets... Please pipe up if you are.

Thanks guys!
