Ride to next event?

Ride to next event?

Postby Taz » Tue Oct 18, 2011 7:56 pm

This is probably a long shot, but is there any chance someone might be able to offer me a ride to the next LE event... and plan to be there around 5, 5:30pm on Friday? (I know this sounds weird, but it's a religious thing.)
I'm coming in from NYC, and I can probably take a bus or train to South Station, the train station in Rt 128 in Attleboro, Providence RI, or the MBTA station in Newton.

Anyone? ^_^;;

If you are up to taking the commuter rail from Boston to Framingham/Natick area I can give a lift. I don't get out of work until 5-5:15, then gotta run home and load up stuff, but the timing would work out well if you came out a little further west. Also I think the commuter rail runs into Franklin too for that matter, so I or some one else could probably pick you up there if that is easier.

Otherwise if that is not going to work, and no better offers come your way, I can pick you up in Newton if it comes down to it, but there is no way I will be getting there at the desired time.

Thanks, I'll look into getting to Framingham or Natick (though it sounds like we might be cutting it a bit close.)

I can probably take the commuter rail to Franklin (or most stops on the MBTA), the issue is just making sure I get to Camp Haiastan by 5:30.

If nothing better comes forward I will see what I can do about ducking out of my second job a tad early, either way it will be close unfortunately. That said I figure my poor timing is better than nothing, let me know if anything develops/progresses and I will see what I can do.

I took Friday off work, so I'll be at the camp site early (shooting for 2-3pm)
could probably pick you up from either the Franklin or Attleboro train stations.

Thanks, Matt! If I can wiggle out of Friday altogether, that would be great. But it might be too early if I can't get it off.

So it looks like I might still need a ride. If I take the train from NYC, I can be in Providence, at the MBTA stop on Rt 128 or South Station in Boston between 4 and 5. Anyone? I hear there are a few other people coming from NYC...

I live in CT. I can pick you up in Hartford or New Haven if you'd like. I get out of work around 5.
