Verbing Greyhook

Verbing Greyhook

Postby Miss Peri West » Mon Nov 28, 2011 6:42 pm

(Based on an email conversation that was too entertaining not to share)

If the noble, upright and steadfast citizens* of Greyhook were to be used as verbs, what would those verbs describe? Here are some that we came up with, please feel free to add your own or suggest alternative definitions:

Getting Peppered: if you were ever with the Baron when he smacked that shiny red button, you got horrifically screwed, and he blithely wandered away, then you got Peppered.

Mayweathered: when the entire town tries to set you up and or look after you.

Half-Bakered: take a Drain by random conversational topic

Talbotated: sent into throes of agony by a really bad pun

Sahaaled: when you think you get out of something scott free and then get *hammered*.

gL.O.R.E.-riously: Adverb with perks: using just words to make people do spit takes, double-takes, make them pause, sigh, cry, laugh, get a confused look on their face, or otherwise have them lose their shit. Can be added before, after, or in conjunction with other Verbs in Greyhook.

Because no one else will post the horror:

Sahaalted and Peppered: When you think you get away with something and then get *hammered* for it due to the apparently unrelated fall out of someone else mashing a big red button with their face.
